Marketing & eCommerce Manager, New York City.
Responsibilities include: The Manager, Marketing & eCommerce - Select Service and Extended Stay is responsible for the creation and execution of cluster and property based marketing & eCommerce programs, as appropriate, for all managed select service and extended stay properties with the objective of exceeding property Revpar and Revpar Index goals. Key areas of focus are: 1) Support the overall development of marketing & eCommerce activities for assigned hotels within the shared service, 2) Ensure all hotels are fully activated on Marriott.com, 3) Ensure pull through of national marketing programs and promotions to support hotel need times, and 4) Provide eCommerce communication, training, and education, as appropriate.

CANDIDATE PROFILE - KEY TALENTS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED
REQUIRED:
2-3 years experience in the field including: Marriott International marketing department, eAgency, Advertising Agency, Direct Mail and/or Print production company
Hotel experience, particularly hotel sales or marketing experience preferred
Ability to handle many diverse projects simultaneously
Excellent organizational skills
Computer literacy - word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
Excellent written and verbal communications skills including public speaking skills
Budget planning
Strong problem-solving and effective decision making skills
Strong organization skills
Good negotiation skills, effective conflict management skills, and ability to influence others
Ability to develop and maintain relationships e.g., vendors, General Managers, Regional Team, Sales and Revenue leaders
Ability to partner effectively with other peers
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Marketing Management preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
