Summary:
The Vice President will develop and implement strategic plans for their Business unit that will guide the direction of the business in line with BU goals and objectives.
The Vice President is responsible for developing and managing a team of sales professionals that will be successful at generating net new revenue and profitability across the entire company portfolio, including, but not limited to; Data Center, Cloud, Security, End User Compute, and Lifecycle services.
This role partners with various other leaders and representatives across the company, in addition to OEM partners and third-party service providers.
The Global Sales Vice President will report to the Global Sales Sr.
Vice President.
This position is a remote position however may be required to report to SHI Corporate headquarters in Somerset, NJ as required for business needs as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities:

Proactively establish strong professional relationships through engagement and credibility with key IT and business executives across the Global accounts in the BU Develop strategic partnerships with key OEM sales leadership responsible for the vertical Focus on senior business management challenges and strategies Available and accommodating when periodically called upon by client IT executives for advice and counsel Act as a business partner to account and extension of the customer's IT management team Demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge in subject matter to position and map company capabilities that align to client business objectives and initiatives Maintains high-level of customer loyalty through engagement, delivering value and builds trust and integrity Leverage existing engagements to spawn new business opportunities that result in on-going profitable revenue growth for the company Leverages company full portfolio to add significant value to customer s business, continuously improve account profitability for company and expand company s share of wallet of the customer spend Build, monitor and orchestrate sales pipeline activities to advance, invest in or diversify opportunities; focuses on generating new and break-through initiatives Provides the business rationale and risk assessment for making company investments in the account Meets quarterly and annual sales goals, and coaches company resources to meet and exceed targets Coach and mentor sales team members to optimize performance and to enable broader and deeper client engagement Coordinate all company activities in the account, e.

sales activity, marketing programs, executive forums, and delivery of on-going engagements; develops a communication plan and employs effective processes for keeping direct and virtual team members updated Assess and manage employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence; manages performance and results of high and low performers Focus on the sales motion of classifying company as a Strategic Supplier by our Global account customers
Qualifications:

years direct selling experience in the IT industry 10
years Sales Management/Leadership position Strong Understanding of the IT Market Possess a proven track record of success of leading large sales teams Experience in strategic planning and execution Required Skills:
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functions Strong presentation skills Ability to influence and lead in a matrix environment A linear, logical thinking style with ability to break down and solve difficult problems Ability to give and receive constructive criticism Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify value in an unstructured situation Management/leadership skills Excellent executive engagement skills Excellent negotiation skills Strong business acumen Ability to position and map company capabilities that align to client business objectives and initiatives.

Ability to structure sales quota goals and revenue expectations Preferred Skills:
