Experience:
Previous orthodontic assisting experience (Preferred) License/Certification:
X-ray license Essential Job Responsibilities Provide clinical assistance to the doctor, including assisting with placement of brackets, Invisalign attachments, etc.
Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with moderate supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills to relate with co-workers and patients.
Educate patients about the care and maintenance of elastics and braces, Invisalign, and other appliances.
Greet and escort patients to and from the treatment area.
Cheerfully engage in friendly conversation with patients and your co-workers.
Clean and sterilize the operatory, including setting up and cleaning the treatment area.
Take intraoral scans using the iTero scanner.
Submit, receive and check laboratory work.
