Somerset, NJ Somerset, NJ Full-time Full-time $50,000 - $70,000 a year $50,000 - $70,000 a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Technical & Proposal Writer JOB DESCRIPTION D2 TEAM-Sim is seeking a Technical & Proposal Writer capable of planning and producing a broad variety of high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our company.
In this position, you will be expected to write, revise, and deliver compelling strategic value propositions in response to business opportunities from potential clients.
Qualified candidates will have the capability to develop thoroughly researched, high-quality proposals and collaterals that contribute to successfully capturing new prospects and technical growth areas.
You will also regularly assist our internal content development teams with producing marketing and informational products in support of developing new business and educating our current customer base.
RESPONSIBILITIES Research proposal request databases and identify valuable business opportunities.
Lead conceptualization of proposals by identifying client needs, attending strategy meetings, and communicating risks.
Plan, write, and organize detailed and persuasive documentation that clearly demonstrates the winning qualities of our company, products, and services.
Prepare and adhere to critical proposal milestones and deadlines in order to track and deliver compliant responses within established timelines.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to review and edit proposal drafts.
Submit final proposal packages and monitor submission sites throughout the selection process.
Develop White Papers that clearly explain and demonstrate the value proposition offered by our company's products and services.
Write clear and accurate instructional material to support the design, development, and production of interactive online training courseware.
Participate in interviews with subject matter expert(s) to gather integral information for producing instructional content.
Work with content development teams to produce engaging and informative copy intended for sales, marketing, and educational purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or English.
Master's degree preferred.

years of proven working experience in technical writing, software documentation, or proposal writing.
Prior experience producing documentation for the U.
S.
Government or Healthcare industry is highly sought.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and deliver highly detailed documentation across a variety of digital and print formats.
A strong understanding of eLearning content development tools (i.
e.
; Learning Management Systems, Content Management Systems, and Courseware Development software).
Ability to quickly comprehend highly technical content and communicate complex topics using text, charts, graphs, and other imagery.
Possess a strong skillset for developing content using Microsoft Office products (i.
e.
; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
