Job Duties:
Provide typing, correspondence and filing support for the Director of Human Resources.
Manage calls for the Human Resources Department; answering phones and directing calls, greeting and directing visitors, assisting with password and login questions related to HR sites, and providing alternate resources when necessary.
Maintain filing systems for the HR department; including paper filing and various electronic databases.
Maintain agency HR databases as assigned and produce reports on regular and as-needed basis including compliance reports.
Assist with and coordinate New Hire onboarding requirements; including enrolling employees in the timeclock, creating and distributing employee badges, enrolling employees in various agency systems, and assisting with training as needed.
Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork and reports.
Participate in and complete required training.
Attend agency or related organization events.
Coordinate confidential projects including but not limited to staff mailings.
Take initiative toward utilizing available resources, multi-task and prioritize projects.

Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma with a minimum of three years administrative support experience.
Ability to pass all background checks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must, initiative and ability to work independently.
Skills utilizing electronic documentation and electronic filing systems.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all departments.
Commitment to work until the job is completed.
At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Valid New Jersey Driver's License.
Willingness to meet NJ Executive Order 252, which requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster; at minimum one dose is required to begin employment with the expectation to complete subsequent doses as per recommended time frames; this requirement may be waived only in exceptional circumstances as outlined in the law.
