1 Aide to work Monday-Friday The Midland School, in North Branch (Somerset County) NJ, a private special education school serving developmentally disabled students aged 5 to 21 is an equal opportunity employer and is seeking candidates for the following part time/per diem position:
Personal aide- Work 1 to 1 with a student.
Training in restraints/protective holds a plus.
Assist throughout the school day to follow the schedule, directions and complete functional living skills Have knowledge and experience working with students/children who have a variety and wide range of special needs.
Assist in Implementing teacher's instructional plans Be reliable, dependable and have a positive demeanor Implement an individualized behavioral plan Be positive and possess a professional demeanor Knowledge and Experience working with a variety of types of special needs students, specifically those on the Autistic spectrum.
Be eligible for substitute certification Able to demonstrate computer competency Must be 18 or over and hold a High School Diploma, courses or higher degree in Education preferable but not required.
Prior experience working with children with special needs or as a 1:
1 / Personal aide a big plus.
