Job description Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Responsibilities- Organize shipments and consolidations for internal/domestic shipping.
Use a computer hardware and software to generate labels for production and shipping while maintaining equipment.
Replenish preferred rack locations for Power Assembly and Power Punch Lines.
Perform routine inventory checks and promptly advise supervisor of any known shortages.
Receive returned products and incoming raw materials.
Move material from the warehouse to production with first out (FIFO) management valuations.
Safely and accurately load and unload all materials/products for inbound and outbound shipments.
Pick and prepare orders in accordance with customer requirements.
Check to ensure to ensure trailers/containers and customers loads are secure and in good condition.
Stage wood heat-treated Euro pallets and regular B grade pallets for production requirements.
Inspect packages to ensure they are not damaged.
Operate warehouse equipment as required to perform tasks in a safe, attentive, and purposeful manner.
Requirements- Previous work experience in Shipping & Receiving.
Data entry skills required.
Forklift.
