The Data Center Operations Resource is responsible for the advanced installation, operation, and maintenance of the NEC (data center) elements consisting of switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, taps, and data collection / aggregators, ensuring network integrity and quality.
These networks include, but are not limited to, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VRRP, HSRP, ACL's Ethernet, and peripherals in a data center environment.
Primary role will be for Branchburg IMS and VoLTE POD.
Troubleshooting, upgrading, and administering these platforms and multiple vendor systems
Maintaining system, element, and platform applications
Providing support to a varied user community
Updating daily logs with site-specific information and composing clear, concise reports for system documentation.
Various network activities such as switch / router port configuration and turn ups and configuring various routing changes for various projects.
Coordinating with internal customers and adhering to our process and procedures to protect the network and customers.
Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper and/or F5 in large scale, high availability networks
Certifications CCNA, CCNP, and/or JNCIA-JUNOS

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
