We offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced production technician to work within our IPS Whites Department. Qualified candidates must have experience working in a powder production environment. This position is for 2nd shift. This individual is responsible for accurately executing porcelain production orders to meet specifications and facilitate the next phase of manufacturing. This position is located at our Somerset, NJ location. Qualified candidates should attach an MS Word formatted resume when applying. Weigh porcelain powders as specified per bill of materials on production orders.
Blend, mix, mill, screen and heat treat powders as necessary per processing specifications to meet desired properties.
Accurately complete production orders and supplementary documentation to allow for accurate time confirmations.
Accurately label and store materials as required.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
1 to 3 years relevant work experience. Experience working in a powder production environment preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to lift 25 to 30 pounds comfortably with or without accommodation.
Must be able to read and perform basic math calculations easily.
Strong general mechanical aptitude.
Quality conscious and excellent organization skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently with some detailed instruction.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
