Job Responsibilities:
Team player with good technical skills in Electrical Engineering including but not limited to the design of lighting and electrical systems for retail and/or commercial buildings. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment and application of electrical engineering design practices. Has a general knowledge and understanding of the project development process including construction, retail and commercial lighting and electrical system design and MEP criteria as applicable. Produces contract documents conforming to applicable building and/or zoning codes, works with internal/external team members as applicable, checks shop drawings, conducts site visits, and assists Project Engineer or Senior Project Designer as needed. Performs most assignments with instructions only as to the general results expected. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex design issues and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects. Reports to the Project Engineer or Senior Project Designer.
Job Qualifications:
5 years experience in the design of lighting and electrical systems for retail and/or commercial buildings
May have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Good working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and the approval process
Good understanding and knowledge of building systems and site requirements (Structural, MEP, Civil and Geo-Tech)
Highly organized, detail-driven and conscientious
Proficient in current version of AutoCAD, MS Word and Excel

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
